The Pharmacy Guild Union at Safeway in Washington State is made up of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians who voted to unionize their workplaces for better patient care in the summer of 2025.

After winning their vote, members nominated a Bargaining Committee, which started negotiations in October of 2025. The Bargaining Committee meets regularly with Safeway/Albertsons executives to negotiate about working conditions, benefits, and pay.
